That would be about right. a picture of shortt appears in a film made up of stolen spetznatz pictures stuck together for a bloody airsoft promotion.
I might just log in to youtube and reply, to send all the video viewers to shortt's ARRSEPedia pages.

Glad to see someone noticed the same amusing irony as I did.
Excellent work Kill!
Almost as funny as Ware's original letter to Herr Baron!

Croydon SAS Colonel & decoratated hero to visit Melbourne
-------------------
FAO Mr Stuart Gill, Consul General,
Sir,
Melbourne will soon be visited by Colonel James Shortt, late of the Royal Galloglas Guard. A highly decorated SAS Soldier from Croydon who is shy of publicity. If the Defence Attache or your staff combined with our Australian Military colleagues could arrange an informal reception it would be appreciated.
Yours aye

Their embarassment was obvious to all to see. But there was no getting away from it... Shortt and the Frontiers Men had forgotten to bring their horses

Despite different coloured Boots, trousers and hats the trusty LOF all wore their Black 'fisting' gloves.

The cop, indian, matelot, builder act was becoming stale, so the Village People tried a new routine. It's fun to stay at the Castle Bell-ing-ham, it's fun...
I used to do that.
Mind you, I was only ten years old at the time...

I'm amazed the pillock hasn't solved all the world's peacekeeping problems, seeing as how he's got all the rest of the evil-doers by the short [geddit?] 'n curlies! The blue beret bit would go nicely with the baby-sh1t brown skirt and accoutrements.

I may be slower than speed of one gazelle with an injured leg, but did Mr Shortt have an article in one of the magazines in either this sundays Mail on Sunday or Sunday Express?

Ah Kill... that's a charming thought! As you say he is such a shy retiring chap I'm sure he'd be ever so chuffed to have an official reception to honour his very many (cough) achievements!

FAO Mr Stuart Gill, Consul General
Sir,
I believe you are being misled. James Shortt is a fraud and a liar.
He never underwent any military basic training, infact his whole
military career consists of a few weeks in the reserve army before he
was told his services were no longer required. I knew him personally
for 7 years. I myself served in the Parachute Regiment.
I am sir, your obediant servant

I'm so ronery
So ronery
So ronery and sadry arone
There's no one
Just me onry
Sitting on my rittle throne
I work very hard and make up great prans
But nobody ristens, no one understands
Seems that no one takes me serirousry
And so I'm ronery
A little ronery
Poor rittle me

I just wonder what the neighbours in Frensham road thought living next door to a 24/7 circus, baring in mind the main clown used ponse about in costume in his old beaten up bright orange 5 series bmw with flashing blue lights, police siren, and smoke screen device. that's of course when it would actually start.
