Quick question (not a wah). What are those .50 cal. machine guns in Afghanistan that the British army are using? Never seen one whilst serving.

Yes they are aquired from various places at time of falklands war and then kept first by paras and marines and then other infantry units really needs to be vechicle mounted but can be man packed .

In GW1 we were running very low on artillery ammo and went cap in hand to the Belgiums. IIRC, they fcucked us off at high port.

I agree, all should be armed with 50 cals and have gpmgs as sidearms, would look ally as fcuk...........until you needed to move anywhere
